FEBRUARY - Our Month of Focus

Shalom people of God, I welcome you to the month of FOCUS. I pray for you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ every spirit of distraction and confusion to achieving God’s purpose in your life be disgraced in Jesus Mighty Name. FEBRUARY the second month of the year is our month of FOCUS. While a lot of people are still basking in the euphoria of the new year and reliving the memories of the Yuletide season, they forget to settle down to reality and focus on life purpose, they are therefore distracted to the point of living in the past or failing to realize the enormity of life expectations. Brethren, life is full of distraction and a distracted life is an accident going somewhere to happen, that is why Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13,14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The most powerful force you and I control is our FOCUS. Our focus determines everything. It has the power to define what we see. It has the power to determine if we see ourselves as oppressed and powerless…or if we see ourselves connected to the power of God. You must consciously decide to take charge of your life and focus on achieving God’s purpose in your life. This year starve your distraction and feed your focus because you cannot get anywhere in life by been distracted.To be distracted in life’s journey is to commit suicide, therefore let’s live a focus life to achieving our God given mandate. I like you to settle down and get to work, time waits for no man. Focus on the truth and the false will fade away. Jesus said in John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Result is the only evidence that shows how you have used time. If you allow distraction, you will never get to achieving God’s purpose and life’s vision. As I conclude, I like you to focus on these cardinal points 1. Focus on achieving a better relationship with God 2. Focus on Christ second coming 3. Focus on your Purpose not your Problem 4. Focus on making God’s Word the standard of your life 5. Focus on making yourself a better person in your field of endeavors. I believe God to empower you with all the courage you need to move forward in servicing God and bettering you life.
